Tidal Sound

Ground shakes

as pressured waves force more reverberation.

Before long

tide takes sound for another shore-song.

Water weight

trapping air, roars in great anticipation.

Waves break

over fall's gradation and race accelerates.

Loud boom

crash cracks rockface in huge white spume.

Tidal sound

grinds into groundswell and then re-bounds

  1. How wonderful, Fay! You're up and running. I'm so proud of you!

You have started out with one of your beautiful signature poems about the power of the sea. When you post your poem, you will see a toolbar above which allows you to change font, size, colour etc and to insert a picture. I find it easy to upload a picture from a folder in 'My Pictures'. If you want to change/ edit your poem, click on Design in the upper right corner of the screen (next to Sign in/out), open the first tab marked 'Posting' then select 'Edit Posts'. If you want to add profile info, a picture etc then open the fourth tab marked 'Design'. You can add pictures, quotes etc and drag the panes around. Choosing the third tab 'Settings', then sub-heading 'formatting' lets you decide how many poems you want displayed on the home page, as well as setting your time zone etc. have lots of fun. I will definitely come back to see the results of your endeavours.

  2. Hi Fay, Kerry introduced me to your work. Being an ocean lover my whole life, I so love this poem - I can SEE the spume crashing on the rocks. Wonderful! I see you are newly entering the wonderful world of blogland. I remember when I was learning, I drove my friend crazy needing help. But it gets easy very fast. I look forward to reading more of your poetry! Keep writing. And welcome to blogland - it is a wonderful world to explore full of glorious POETS!!!!!!! Yay! Welcome aboard!!!!
